White Friars Lodge No.6523 is a lodge under the jurisdiction of the United Grand Lodge of England and of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Northumberland.
Freemasons come from all walks of life, and are active in promoting a culture of integrity, charity and community responsibility.
White Friars Lodge was consecrated in 1947 and recently celebrated it's 60th Anniversary. We meet on the second Thursday of the month, ten times a year, at the Jesmond Masonic Hall at Fern Avenue, Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Our social mix is very diverse, with members from all professions.
Freemasonry means different things to different people. Some enjoy the opportunity to listen to and debate with others, whilst some members also find the social activities of great interest. A chance to study the history, philosophy and esoteric nature of the craft appeals to many, but most of all Freemasonry offers you a pathway to develop in ways that personally interest you.
